Playdate

Mason had his friend Charlee over to play a little while back and they had so much fun together. They played well with Waylon too which made me happy. The rode bikes, played in their room and even did some video game time as well. She is such a sweet and well behaved little girl, we really enjoyed having her and had fun watching the 3 kids interact.

Backyard Pool Party

I think we go through about 2 or 4 pools or slipping slides a summer it seems, between being poor pool owners the wind and the dogs they never seem to last long. We've already had 2 so for this season so we'll see how the rest of the summer goes :) With that said, it seems the boys love the water more and more every year, it's getting so fun watching them play in it! Truman and I just try to stay cool in the shade even though he LOVES the water too!

Jaq's Bridal Shower

My friend of over 20 years is getting married this summer and she's asked me to be a part of the bridal party. Her sister had a really lovely shower for her at La Ferme in genoa a few weekends ago and it was very nice! It was fun to see lots of her family and her hubby to be's family and old friends from high school! Looking forward to the big day in just a few weeks!

Joe's Graduation

My nephew, Joe, graduated High School this year! That seems quite crazy! And as I was crying over the fact that my baby graduated preschool,  I couldn't even begin to imagine what my sister-in-law was going through with her baby turning 18 and done with high school. Oye! Anyway, we went to graduation on Friday night and then went to his grad party on Saturday. Such a fun and exciting time!

Grandma and Grandpa's 50th

My grandparents celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary a few weeks ago so my aunt and uncle threw a nice little luncheon for them. We had such a good time!

Preschool Graduation

It seems like just yesterday I was anxiously anticipating Mason starting preschool and the year flew right by, now we are gearing up for kindergarten. He had the sweetest teacher, Ms. Julie, and some really sweet friends that we're going to miss and hope to keep in touch with. The school had a big graduation, everyone graduated from their class (not just the preK kids) so there was a lot happening but it was very nice. Congratulation to my little Tiger!

6 Months

6 months! I can hardly believe it! Truman weights 15.13 and is 26.5". I really can't say enough about my little boy, we are just having so much fun with him. He's eating solids 2-3 times a day and his favorites seem to be zucchini and pears. He rolls both ways, gets in the crawling position and starts rocking, does like the up dog yoga pose and is starting to sit on his own with the help of a toy to keep him focused. I think he calls me "naanaa" and Ive heard and occasional "dada." He keeps a close watch on those brothers of his, they keep him entertained a lot! He's starting to get to that antsy I wanna get moving on my stage where its hard to just sit and cuddle him anymore ;( but it's pretty exciting to watch him want to interact with us all more and do what we're doing. Im having a hard time getting a nap routine down, he'll cry it out for 45 minutes or so and still not sleep... or when he does sleep it always seems to be right before noon, then at 12 the sun creeps in from the skylight and blast him in the face, because I always forget about it, and wakes him up. But he's sleeping well at night for the most part. He's in with Mason and Waylon now, and he sleeps usually from about 9-5. The boys love having him in their room, and they have been so good about being quiet. We have a video monitor in their that I can talk through too and it's been an absolute crack up to watch their faces when they start messing around in there and I say something... they go like a deer in headlights it's so funny. Or when I start moving the camera around the room to find them and they just freeze up... too much, we just die laughing! So here's some recent picture of the little guy...
