Some 7 month shots...

Well if you haven't noticed, I'm kind of obsessed with this kid! He's really starting to just sit now it's pretty exciting...

7 Months

At seven months Truman can fully sit up all by himself for a minute or two and for long stretches with a toy. He's trying so hard to crawl but not quite there but he has his own way of moving about. He still loves zucchini and squash and pears and still nursing about 8 times a day. He's getting more and more vocal every day, mostly "yaya and dada" and he grabs everything, he's so quick! He's got two big bumps on his gums that look like they're ready to let teeth through any moment (and he's been pretty grumpy about the situation too). Mason and Waylon make him laugh more than anything else, even though Waylon tries to wrestle him every time I look away! He's still not a huge fan on his carseat but loves his swing (which he usually takes his morning nap in) and his jumper activity center! Time is just flying right on by! Love this little guy!

4th of July

Somehow it's already July, it seems so crazy. Well this year the boys got to have all kinds of fun! Papa decided to set up our tent in his backyard and he and the boys camped out on the 3rd! They were so excited! They got to roast marshmallows and have s'mores and then passed out for the night under the stars!

Then on the 4th we just hung around the house, the boys swam around in their little pool and even did some slip and slide action and then we had dinner at mom and dad's and headed up to carson. We didn't really know where we were going to see fireworks, we haven't taken the boys in a few years. But we ended up at Carson High in the parking lot there and it was perfect. Waylon of course was over it just about the time it started asking "is it over yet? When are we leaving? Why is it taking so long" classic Waylon. But Mason loved it and had so much fun and even Truman seemed to like them!

Water Baby

Truman loves the water! Like ice cold pool water fresh out of the hose! He doesn't even flinch, just starts splashing or squealing it's so cute. I know for a fact the other too hated the cold water, they're just now really starting to tolerate it. So I haven't captured the action shots of T in the pool yet but here's few other cute ones...

Too hot for outdoors!

It's been scorchin' hot around here! So much so I don't like sending the boys out to play in it so we've been trying to find things to do! For starters I let them make their own lunches the other day (which was a good half hour production not including clean up time) They thought it was pretty great.

And today we busted out this little science kit that Mason got for his birthday. It was a lot of fun, we mixed things like baking soda and water or made this little lava lamp thing with oil and water and dye and even a "wizards" wand. They thought it was pretty exciting!

 I also taught them how to play a mean game of tic-tac-toe! Waylon of course dominated somehow, no matter how hard I tried he'd somehow win almost every game! And Mason didn't too bad either, except he'd get a little cocky and then wouldn't see it coming and lose ha ha! Fun day! Thank goodness for the AC though or it quickly would have been not so fun!

Oh ya, we also decorated the boys room a little more today too. We bought some world maps from costco at Christmas time, I think, and we were waiting until we got bunk beds to do anything in there but I was tired of seeing such bare walls so I put them up today and moved some things around, it looks good in there, real homey ;)
