Superman & Elmo

Halloween time... I know it's not much of a "Holiday" so to speak but it seems like after Halloween it just gets crazy, hence the fact that it's the middle of January and I'm blogging about things in October... We had a lot of fun with the boys this year, the older they get the more fun things seem to be getting, not that they weren't fun before but they are enjoying things more and therefor we are having more fun with it. So we did the pumpkin thing, Ed and I got into this year and we ended up carving our pumpkins after the boys went to bed ha! But they liked that, still trying to eat the pumpkin, but loved seeing them all lit up and on the porch. Then this year Mason was Superman and Waylon was Elmo, why, I don't really know other than when we went to pick out costumes the store didn't have much in their sizes so that is what we got :) but I have to say the were pretty cute! We took them down to safety street and they ran through there and then we went over to Nate and Jens and showed them their costumes and saw their kids costumes, and then headed over to what is turning into a tradition, to Jeremy and Stephanie's. We had dinner with them and then Steph came with us to take the boys around their neighborhood. They did really well knocking on the doors, Mason wanted to know everyone's name who answered which I guess is a good thing! And it was super warm out, usually Halloween is freezing but it was way nice out this year which also really helped!
